Far Beyond!

(March 2025)

An abridged list of 12  of the President's 42 principal statements in his Address to Congress of March 5th, 2025

12 benign observations, recommendations, and questions to the President

1

“America is back!”

When did America leave?

2

The President's electoral success gives him a decisive mandate to his agenda

Fewer than half the ballots were cast for the President. One in four Americans voted for him. The essence of this current Constitution of the Age of Enlightenment is the protection of the minority.

3

“It’s called ‘drill, baby, drill!  You've heard me say many times we have more Liquid Gold under our feet than any Nation on Earth and by far"

U.S. reserves are in fact as follow:

A.  Oil: the U.S. ranks number 9 worldwide, with 3.96% of world reserves, and can go about 12 years at current production, less if production is increased;

B. Natural gas: the U.S. ranks number 4 worldwide, with 8.37% of world reserves, and can go about 15 years at current production, less if production is increased.

Is it rather "He says it as it is", or "He says so, so it is"?

4

The president promotes his “golden card” immigration program aimed at allowing wealthy foreigners to buy residency permits, while the poor are banned entry.

Substitute the foreign Millionairess for the illegal maid. Who will be the former's maid?

5

“The days of rule by unelected bureaucrats are over”

Pursuant to the principle of independence of the Judiciary and its sway over the Executive Branch, the Judges sitting currently in-perpetuum on the Supreme Court, the Federal Courts of Appeals, and the Federal District Courts must henceforward be Elected by Voters for a term not exceeding 4 years.

6

“We have been ripped off for decades by nearly every country on earth, and we will not allow it any longer”

Likewise, until 1865 the Lady of a Slaveholding Estate used to complain that she was being ripped-off by Her servants.

7

“We are achieving the great liberation of America”

An opinion on the subject must be requested forthwith from the Cherokee, Sioux, Choctaw, Hopi, Chickasaw, Creek, Seminole, Navajo, Blackfoot, Apache and the other 554 federally recognized tribes.

8

The President announces a program to boost shipbuilding in the US, saying it is required to maintain national security.

Military shipbuilding is already U.S. only. So is shipbuilding for domestic trade. As for international shipbuilding, the current U.S. share of worldwide shipbuilding is 0.09% of gross tonnage, whereas U.S. intercontinental trade amounts to 6.5% of worldwide trade. To become independent of foreign shipbuilding, the U.S. must therefore increase its capacity by 6,500%, and, given structural and legal inefficiencies, its shipbuilding-related workforce from 650,000 to 42,250,000, quite a task, considering that Americans in search of a job currently number 5,666,000 (plus those Federal employees recently laid-off).

9

"The Panama Canal was built by Americans for Americans!"

Likewise, the Suez Canal was built by the French for the French, and the Governmental Buildings and Bridges in the British Raj of India were built by the Briton for the Briton.

10

“It is our turn to take America’s destiny into our hands. This will be our greatest era.”

Who's turn was it until now to take America's destiny into their hands?

11

"The US will plant a flag on Mars and far beyond"

Given that in the Solar System there is no rocky planet beyond Mars, and the closest star is half a million times as distant, and quite unknown at that, how far beyond is the President contemplating to go?

Besides, what is the rationale for the U.S. to spend American people's treasure on conquering a barren distant planet, whereas the inhospitable Emptinesses of Siberia, Australia, Canada, Greenland, and Antarctica, let alone 350 million square kilometers of oceanic vastness, are considerably more hospitable than Mars?

To Infinity and Beyond!

12

“We will fight, fight, fight for a country our citizens believe in!”

Which of the citizens want to fight, fight, fight, while others want peace, peace, peace, especially among those who do believe in America?

13

Bonus item: about repealing birthright citizenship

Confer American citizenship only to those born in the United States whose parents were both American citizens at birth.

Further, thoroughly investigate any citizen whose grandparents were all foreign citizens at birth.

Strip of their current citizenship anyone whose parents were not both American citizens at birth. Deport them to the country of origin of their alien-born parent(s).

No exception for anyone, including the current President of the United States and his issue.
